Good, now let’s get to the facts. Here is what we know, we know that millions of Americans have been rendered jobless in the last few months. We also know that in Australia, whilst the Corona Virus has been contained, with the easing of restrictions coming into play gradually, we know the next battle front is on the economic front. We also know that big banks, Westpac, Anz etc have recently announced a dramatic drop in profits and are deferring dividend. We also know that the unemployment rate is expected to rise as the effects of Covid 19 come to the fore. We also know that in France, KLM was bailed out for a coupla billions. Look, I could go on and on and on, bottom line. Its not looking good on the Economic front. These are turbulent times, and ‘’Job Security’’ doesn’t mean anything anymore. Just today, Target in Australia has announced that some of the branches are going to be closed PERMANENTLY!!!
Having said that, like I said in my previous post, for many people this covid 19 situation gave you a chance to rethink and reprioritize your life and what else is ‘’out there’’. Many have found their passion and purpose etc, some are still looking, that’s okay. Here on his page, we don’t judge anyone, we believe life is a journey J
For a lot of people the allure of being your own boss is that you get to work for yourself and you get to decide when you show up at work. You also love the flexibility of setting your own hours. For a lot of people, the hold back is capital.
